Alexandre is a self-taught artist who was born on October 5, 1975 in Setúbal, Portugal.

He began to draw from a very early age and won his first contest at the age of 12. He was always sensitive and appreciative of art in general.
He didn’t even think twice when he decided to study Arts. It was his vocation. After that, he joined an architecture studio, where he remains until today.

When he professionalized his art, Alexandre specialized in realistic drawings, more specifically in portraits, which had always been his passion. He recently won an international challenge with his realistic portrayal of actress Lupita Nyong’o.

It’s not fame that moves him, nor are awards that motivate him. Emotion is what drives him to draw.
